ODE ISIPAN
DT – EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE THERMAL INSULATION BOARD
ODE Isıpan DT is an extruded polystyrenethermal insulation board used in the thermal insulation of floorings and roofs. Both surfaces are smooth and shielded.
HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT (λ)
The heat transfer coefficient is the amount of heat passing through 1 m2 surface at 1°C temperature difference (Δt) at 1 m perpendicular distance of the insulation material. The unit is W/mK. This value is the most important property of the thermal insulation materials. In order for a substance to become a thermal insulation material, a heat transfer coefficient smaller than 0.65 W/mK is required (ISO and CEN standards). The smaller the heat transfer coefficient of the insulation material, the higher is the resistance to heat transfer.
With min. 24kg/m³ density and a variety of surface properties, ODE Isıpan offers a heat transfer coefficient ranging between 0.033 and 0,037 W/mK.
WATER VAPOR DIFFUSION RESISTANCE COEFFICIENT (μ)
The need for equilibrium during heat transfer also applies for partial vapor pressure. Water vapor pressure tends to move from high pressure to lower pressure environments. As is the case with heat transfer, each material resists to water vapor transfer depending on individual thickness. Water vapor diffusion resistance coefficient is the ratio between the materials’ resistance and the vapor diffusion factor of the air. It is a ratio, hence there is no unit.
ODE Isıpan offers optimum water vapor diffusion resistance coefficient at μ=100 allowing respiration despite its anti-condensation properties.
FIRE CLASS
Fire class is a feature which indicates the material’s resistance to flame and ignition.
ODE ısıpan is classified among E class materials according to the TS EN 13501-1 standard.
PRESSURE STRENGTH
XPS thermal insulation boards must be resistant to high pressure for convenient use in Load bearing structures such as trafficable terrace roofs and floorings, and areas exposed to mobile load such as car parks. They are expressed in KPa unit.
ODE Isıpan 50 DT features minimum 300 kPa pressure resistance by 10% deformation per, TS EN 13164.
WATER ABSORPTION BY VOLUME
Materials fully immersed and kept in water for prolonged times are evaluated depending on the amount of water they absorb.
ODE Isıpan with closed pored and is classified as WL (T) 0,7 per TS EN 11364.
APPLICATION TEMPERATURE
The suitable temperature range should be known for safe application of the thermal insulation material.
BD – EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE THERMAL INSULATION PANEL
ODE Isıpan BD is the extruded polystyrene thermal insulation panel series used in the thermal insulation of walls, columns and beams. Both surfaces are printed. The printed surface of the panels allow for high adherence with grout and adhesive.
